Exhibitor Demonstrations Submission

DEADLINE DATE: 10th June 2010

Please read the submission guidelines below and complete the form at the bottom of this page. Please note than in order to book an Exhibitor Demonstration your company must be participating in the show.


Exhibitor Demonstration slots are hosted on The Piazza have been created to host specific marketing and sales presentations. They will last 45 minutes inclusive of a Q&A period at the end of your session, if required. The area will seat up to 60+ people.

For this area you can guarantee your slot in the programme to promote your company and direct traffic to your stand at the show. These are available at £225 (+VAT) per slot and are expected to sell out fast due to the demand. You can select multiple slots. Successful applications will be contacted by our team to arrange payment.

Before submitting a talk, here are a few points to think about:
- How will your talk excite people? 
- What do you aim to arouse in the audience? 
- What will be said in your talk that has not been communicated at another event? 
- Does your talk educate the audience?

Exhibitor demonstrations can be booked for the following types of presentations:
- 45 minute marketing or sales demonstration.

Please include the following information for your proposal:
- Proposed performance/ demonstration. 
- Overview and description of the demonstration (Max. 50 words).
- Teacher/ Speaker(s): expertise and short summary biography.

Formats and set up:
The Exhibitor Demonstration is an open area, although not perfect for talks requiring periods of silence, it does convey the show’s atmosphere at all times. The area will have the following set up:
- Audio Visual presentation systems for DVD, CD, Powerpoint.
- Speaker system (microphone, lectern)
- Internet connectivity
- Laptop
- You may provide own laptop if required for your presentation

Submission Guidelines: 1. All submission have to be entered using this format. 2. You will receive an email acknowledgement of receipt on submission. 3. Your submission will then be reviewed by The Language Show Seminar Programming Team. 4. Successful applicants only will be contacted regarding a slot in the 2010 Seminar Programme.   5. All applications not chosen at this time will be held on file for possible future use. 6. Although we cannot pay speakers, those who have limited budgets may have all or some of their travel expenses paid by prior agreement to the event.
