Our current International activities include immersion courses and cultural seminars for adult learners in the UK and Europe funded through the British Council.

We offer language teaching resources for NVQs, ABC awards and CBLC in various languages. We also provide extensive support for teachers delivering these qualifications.

ABC Awards currently offer 170 language qualifications approved on the QCF. They are designed to enable flexibility of delivery and assessment and are developed in collaboration with subject specialists.

Title ABC Entry Level 3 Practical Language Resources Description Language Networks for Excellence (LNfE) has recently collaborated with ABC Awards (ABC) to produce a teaching resource pack to support the ABC Entry 3 Certificate in Spanish and in French. The teaching resources comprise of: Teacher’s notes, Student activity book A Spanish audio CD, Listening activities and materials to match all the units; Assessment activities, Grammar and cultural tips, Vocabulary list, Activities for learners PowerPoint presentations for each unit. Title NVQ Language Resources Description Language Networks for Excellence has collaborated with CILT, the national centre for languages, to produce new resources that support the NVQs in a variety of languages and levels. Title Spanish & Italian Immersion Courses Description Language Networks for Excellence are pleased to announce that we are running week-long immersion courses for teachers of Spanish and Italian, taking place in 2011 in Spain (1st - 7th May) and Italy (12th - 18th June) Courses are fantastic opportunities to fully immerse yourself in the culture of your chosen location and further improve your language skills. The courses will include language and methodology classes, cultural visits, and each delegate will receive a certificate of attendance for their CPD file.
